Oscar & Nala our African Servals

Savannah Cats:

The Savannah Cat is the product of breeding an African Serval Cat to a domestic house cat.  The breed originated in 1994 when an African Serval owner decided to see if she could produce a cat more like a domestic house cat but with the elegance and exotic look of a Serval.

Our Sheba is an F2 meaning she is a second generation and 25% wild.  She will be bred to our African Serval Oscar in "07 for F1 babies that are 75% wild, contact us to go on the waiting list.    No special permit is required to own a Savannah Cat.

Nala and Oscar are our African Servals.  The Serval is a wild cat found on the African Savannah.  The breed is known for their large ears and lovely spots.  They can be up to three feet tall and weigh up to 45 pounds.  They are know also for their vertical leap and can jump 10 ft and dine on small rodents and birds. In most areas a special permit is required to own a Serval.   We expect our first litter of Servals in "08".
