Wintercrest Farms offers full boarding and
hauling services to our
customers. We are proud to announce that we have broken
ground on our brand new barn with an indoor riding arena.
This state of the art facility will
open in October, but some accommodation can be offered in our
temporary barn and paddocks in the mean time.
The new barn will have wash racks, tack and feed rooms, and an
observation
deck for the indoor riding arena and living quarters.
Our stalls will all
have automatic waterers and a new ground feeding system that
allows the
horse to eat in a more natural way that eliminates many dental
and health
issues.
In addition to our barn facilities with an indoor riding arena
we offer an
outdoor riding ring and numerous turn out paddocks, round pen
and 50 acres
of trails on the property including creeks and bridges.
Our farm feeds locally grown hay as well as alfalfa we bring
in often from
Iowa. We can meet any other special requests regarding
your horses care.
We have had more than 50 years of training, riding, care and
reproductive
experience.
We are on a rotation quarterly with a Natural Equine
Orthodontist as an
alternative to dentistry. We have found this new method
solves many horse
problems not formally associated with horse dentistry such as
TMJ.
We have excellent references available from all of our vendors
and our Vets
at Upper Cumberland Veterinary Clinic where they offer round
the clock
emergency farm calls.
Safety is of paramount importance to Wintercrest Farms. Our
family lives on
the premises as will a member of our barn staff. We will
have an intercom
system to our home which is 100 yards away. There is a
phone in the barn as
well as excellent bathroom facilities including a shower.
We look forward to hearing from you to discuss your boarding
and hauling
needs.
